If you are an absolute beginner, just bring both left feet and a sense of humour! It doesn't really matter what you wear to the class. Some wear their gym clothes and others their work clothes. Try not to wear shoes that grip the floor that's all, so trainers are not ideal. Arrive ten minutes before the class so that you have time to sign in at the reception desk, then find us in the studio downstairs.
Sign up for our 7 week beginners course if you want the best value for your money.

A client testimonial...
“I have been attending lessons with Fritha for 9 months and, apart from
head-spins, I think I've seen it all: Tap, Samba, Jazz... you name it,
she's got it. But Salsa is the style that Fritha lives and breathes
and as Johnny Castle famously said, "It's not on the one,... It's a
feeling, a heart beat".
For dance neophytes like me the occasional wedding disco provides the
best yardstick for how much I've picked up from learning 1 hour per
week. Once you've got the Salsa 'basic' sorted you can groove to
almost any pop song. Throw in a couple of spins and a shine alongside
Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill and you'll feel like the Dirty Dancing finale
was all about you, and your Baby.
As with all learning, there are sometimes moments of frustration. But
then you might find Fritha pulling a funny face at you in the mirror
and you'll be back in the room; humour is very much a part of the
classes. In fact, everyone in class gets along pretty well and Fritha
finds opportunities for class outings to Salsa gigs, a new meme in my
social calendar.” Oliver (Sep 2012)
